These are closeups of the genealogy squares that will go on the christening gown slip for Serena and Erich's new baby Elena Rosa and all their kids to come, Lord willing. The first is Erich's mom Nancy's parents. The next is his dad Steve's parents.. The next is my parents.The next is Lee's parents. The dates are the wedding anniversaries as much as I can find out. The squares will be pieced with entredeux and lace and placed in the slip. So far I've done squares for Elena's great grandparents. I have the grandparents and parents left to do plus one square for Elena with her baptismal date and a scripture verse: Children are a heritage from the Lord. Ps 127:3 I ran out of embroidery thread in the right color, ordered it online and haven't gotten it yet!! I can't get it locally, doggone it.
