Ah yes, this is the answer to why live in Redlands, CA, USA!! You may have heard about the torrential rains. They have cleared for now. The top picture has our pool furniture and a few of our palms in the foreground with our neighbor's grapefruit orchard behind and the snowcapped mountains beyond that. The next has our obligatory Italian style fountain. I wanted to show the amazing contrast of the lush plant behind the fountain with the snowy mountains behind. I don't think you can see the mountains as well as I'd like. It's either me or the camera....likely me.
We took the Palm Springs Tram up to Idyllwild to hike and did so without snowshoes with no mishaps, thank God. I messed up the middle pic so you have to turn your head to see Steve up on a rock scaring his parents. The bottom pic you can find him in a hole. He's a blue spot around the middle of the pic after he fell....nooooo he didn't...he carefully got himself into the hole on purpose....really he did.....uh huh....
