The first pic is a very basic machine embroidery on a sweatshirt for our good buddy Mark Robinson. It's something he says often. The saying has special meaning since I've had an 8 month migraine seige, which is thankfully waning.
The next is my first attempt at fabric collage done with a "free motion quilting" technique. It is the back view of a sweatshirt I made for our son Steve.
The purse is done in silk dupioni with a machine embroidery design on the flap. This is an adaptation of a purse I learned how to make in the Martha Pullen Sewing Extravaganza four day seminar that I went to in October. I made it for our brilliant UCLA law student Ariel Robinson whom we've known since she was just a twinkle in her dad's eye.
